The service was excellent for our party of six, accommodating our party of "separate checks"graciously. We all ordered different items and all were excellent with nice presentation. I had the whole fish and it was perfection. It was also much larger than other places here, and $8 less! The prices are really good! It is not a fancy place, but you cannot go wrong!
The staff was very friendly and the service was pretty quick. The tables and chairs were a bit small, the place could use some decor but if you're looking for authentic Mexican food with good service and don't care about looks then this place is the spot! We did get some looks from other customers, maybe cuz I'm a gringo but I don't mind. The food was awesome! I got the fajita mix plate with corn tortillas. Food was out in about 10 minutes, was cooked very good. It was very well seasoned and the onions and peppers were cooked all the through. The chichen wasn't dry, the steak was very good and my favorite was the shrimp. The price was very reasonable also.
You wouldn't expect to find some of the best tacos in Maryland Heights. You'd expect those to be down on Cherokee st. Nope. Not these tacos. Tried all of the meats. Super authentic, quick and delicious. Knowing a tad bit of Spanish will help you. This is truly a Mexican spot but I def got by with my above limited Spanish lol. Worth a visit and again, some of the best Mexican food in the state.
To add to my review I want to say you must go next door to the carniceria. The chorizo is awesome.
One of our favorite places! Everything on the menu is delicious. Service is very efficient and pleasant.
